The "Notwithstanding Clause" is becoming a joke with several provinces using it to ram through laws that the people don't want but the provincial governments do. It also prevents those against these mostly stupid laws from being able to challenge it through the courts. #abpoli #cdnpoli

14 Recall petitions under way in Alberta and UCP members are complaining. They never thought the legislation that they brought in would be used against themselves and now they are looking at changing the law before they start losing seats. Typical UCP #abpoli

#LetsGoOilers get embarrassed for the second time in the last 3 home games. In those games they have given up 21 and scored 9 (8 in regulation and 1 in OT) and have lost 2 of the three. I don't care who is in goal, if the team plays in front of him like they did tonight, they are losing anyway

I was really hoping the 2 games in Florida was the turning point for the #LetsGoOilers but that was not to be. Stinking the joint out at home is not a way to reward the local fans

In the last 8 periods of hockey in Edmonton, the #LetsGoOilers have given up 19 goals while scoring 6 in regulation and one in OT. Unless they start playing like they did in Florida, they won't be making the playoffs

Clattenburg makes it 4-1 with his first NHL goal in his second game. Good play by the 4th line and he picks up a rebound and fires it in. Congrats on that first goal. Time to see if the #LetsGoOilers take some energy from that goal

The #LetsGoOilers PP looks disjointed and no one looks interested in playing. A bad giveaway by Drai ends up with the puck down the ice to kill 20 seconds. There is no energy or urgency with this team.

Over on X/Twitter there was lots of talk about the #LetsGoOilers looking at Binnington but seriously, he isn't better than what they have at a much higher cap hit. I've never been a BInnington fan. He had one good year. St Loo have given up around the same as the Oilers this season

This is the second time in the last 3 home games that the #LetsGoOilers have been shit kicked. And in all 3 games (2 and 1 period) they haven't given up less than 4 goals against. Lost 9-1, won 5-4 and down 4-0 after one period tonight. That is not home team hockey
