I have the entire narrative already mapped out, rosters of characters and npcs, and 3 distinct endings planned.

It all really depends on the legion in question. But generally, you start seeing some proper "chaotic" elements in the Late Heresy era/Siege of Tera period.
Especially true for the "chosen legions" like the Emperor's Children or Death Guard.
