final fantasy viii marks another milestone game capped off this year. its definitely a misunderstood game; i can call it one of the most compassionate stories ive seen in an RPG, with unforgettable imagery as the icing on the cake. the seamless integration of gameplay and FMVs are incredible.

xenosaga ep 1:
it was a game with a lot of interesting concepts and worldbuilding. many great character moments spread throughout, but it definitely feels like the tip of the iceberg for some larger story.
buuuut i would've liked it more if not for the tedious gameplay.
