A pizza without anchovy is not a real pizza! (^-°)! (Relative truth which only concerns me).

Even if some do not agree, here are some easy-to-do French recipes: Tagliatelle with shrimp, “boursin” sauce (garlic and herb cheese) & Blue cheese mussels.

Another hypothesis dates back to the time of Hippocrates. Cheese digests very slowly and could interfere with the processing of fish, which is very easily spoiled. In reality, the French and Greeks have recipes mixing cheese and seafood.

It's part of tradition in Italy. The historical hypothesis was that cheeses were produced at altitude, where there was no seafood. But Campania, the mozzarella region, is not far from the coast.
