Us developers have learned the hard way that:

1. Prototyping is more like 10% of the actual work - even though the business folks thinks we're 90% done

2. Shipping prototypes to production is possible but generally a bad idea

Vibe coding is prototyping. Others will learn - soon

Commonhaus has been a great home for SlateDB. They're looking for more projects (especially non-Java ones!). I highly recommend joining. :)

By the way, because almost all the people I’ve worked with are men, the whole «men and women can’t actually be friends 🧠» discourse actively harms me. A ton of men and women believe that crap. Well, that means what? I have to go through life with no one speaking to me? wtf? People need to stop that.
Funnily, because almost all my colleagues have been men, I’ve had more male colleagues bake for the team than female colleagues 😅 back in Opera one of the male core devs would bake chocolate sheetcake for the whole company on the regular.
