I probably should’ve done one more run to resolve on the A, but just went somewhere else…I’m very much an explorer. I guess with that comes the possibility in making some mistakes along the way.

I wanted the tension. So instead of an Amin blues riff, I sort of pulled from a Garcia move, arpeggiate the Amin shape at the 12th fret landing on the C, then chromatically walking down from the A again to Gb, then again to the C…thinking Cmaj is the relative to Amin…

Over that time I think I’ve gained a bit of fluency for the board - in creating my own language to speak. Not sure if this helping…I think when I played the first few riffs, I didn’t want to land on an obvious note,
