It's the same old Washington trickery. Give the controversial issues enough votes from lawmakers in safe seats, and blame the results on not having enough power to make the difference, when in reality, what they really lack is the morals to represent their constituents, instead of their own wallets.

Schumer is just playing the same sad old Washington game. Let your safest members take the controversial vote, and pretend to stand against them on principle. It's a way of covering one's own ass.

Mamdani, from what little I've heard, seems to be a very good public speaker. If this weren't Amerikkka, I'd say that, If he proved his mettle as mayor, maybe one day he could run for president. But we see what electing a non-white to the office has gotten us already.
