I think the worst thing you can do is become obsessed with clearsky especially if you see who has blocked you and you don't even recognize them or can fathom why they blocked you. Don't go down that rabbit hole...

the way follows are stored in atproto is that a user has a follow recorded in their repo, and you as another user authenticated to yourself cannot just alter somebody else's repo. that user is currently following you inconditionally even if you are blocked (but the appview enforces the block)

ClearSky has some problems with how it ingests it's firehose data, but I haven't gotten to the bottom of it. Best I've been able to do as a work around is to get the list author from ClearSky and then use the direct API from bsky to pull the list from there by name. Obviously this has problems.
