This new paper analyses the content of 130 review invitations from 52 journals over a three-year period.

The results offer a useful standard and framework for templating emails to reviewers to improve the peer review process experience for reviewers, journals and authors.

A new paper in ESE investigates Moldovan conferences to examine the extent to which they match the markers of predatory conferences, and cautions against practices which blur the lines between acceptable and predatory.

This new article in European Science Editing surveys the attitudes to open access publishing of 1000 Croatian authors.

Results highlight much similarity of general attitudes, but practical differences in adoption between STEM and SSH fields.
