Snap! I did just the same that Sunday, but at #RHSHarlowCarr for horticultural uplifts, and Betty’s treats!

Your found treasure will clean up beautifully - my parents have a similar wooden soldier in their garden. He has ‘marched’ (spun his arms) with joy on windy days all my life, & was my grandparents’ before I was born.
A silly but loved heirloom 💂

No otters I’m afraid, but here is my favourite survey buddy from earlier this month, complete with markings like the key on an old corned beef can, or for an old windup toy…
