This also really irritates me because it implies that those of us who live in rural areas say "ain't," with all that implies.
I'm not supporting this campaign. I don't buy junk on Black Friday anywhere anyway.

I grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio. Population of nearest town: 1500. Largest graduating class at the time: 28. That's rural.
Even where I live isn't TRULY rural. That's just become an idea that some like to adopt when then live in suburbs.

But for those of us in rural areas without chain stores, much of what we need is NOT available locally.
And I never thought of Home Depot as equivalent of Amazon's greed and deplorable owner, so what did I miss there? And why wasn't Walmart included on this boycott list?

They have tremendous power if the unite and use it. But most have lost all credibility with me for letting this crap happen. It's not just about their funding, it's about our country and all businesses and residents.

I live in central Port Angeles. We have NO squirrels here at all. Have never seen one in the 10 years I've lived in my cottage. I hear there are some on the west side and probably are west of Port Angeles. I miss seeing and watching them.
