Interesting concept, but nothing shaped my compassion more than the law enforcement response to civil rights protesters in the 60s. Hope we don't become numb to the ongoing brutality towards immigrants and see the hatred that continues to make it happen.

Would love to know what his rationale is for the country being safer. Our standing in the world is undermined. Our allies no longer trust us. And citizens of the countries still permitted to visit don't want to do so. Our supposed safe country is a worldwide pariah.
