I don't know if it does. I'm just sick of people being negative towards films not being good, especially with films like Novacaine, Together, The Creator, Oppenheimer, Sinners, The Substance, and so on.

I feel the same way. I don't like this modern discourse when discussing film. Its either they don't care or too cynical. I recently questioned someone that we can't be friends because they're tired sequels and remakes despite me praising Dune 2, and this person claims that makes me shallow.

Tarantino has no right dissing Paul Dano and Mathew Lillard. Especially with his performance in Django Unchained, where he was doing an "Australian accent" that was so terrible, it should be considered a hate crime towards Australians.
