at one of my closest friends (known since birth, moms are bffs) 10th birthday they had the classic giant sheet cake and when slices were getting handed out and I was getting nervous to either reject or not eat it, her mom said “Liz I have some cheese & fruit if you’d rather have that?” Moms rule
I limit my random cake eating because a lot of cake has awful frosting, this is also true of some cookies. Brownies are a decent gamble unless they have extra shit in them which is not needed ie caramel. Sometimes pies fall apart and are watery 😔 also cheesecake is not for me. I think that’s all

I was up in the middle of the night then subsequently slept in too late, classic “I feel weird and unsettled” combo and now I have to go to the grocery store instead of sitting under a blanket watching dumb tv all day. What a world!!!

making steaks this year but in the past I hosted/cooked for btwn 10-25 ppl every year for like…. 8 years? And when I say I am in possession of the worlds easiest, best, most lazy in the kitchen but the outcome is stunning turkey recipe in perhaps the world…I will not hear turkey slander

recently told a customer (when they asked) that I wasn’t especially interested in a particular new release that’s getting a lot of attention (I said, “oh that’s not really my thing but I’ve heard people are liking it”) and they scolded me 🙃 because apparently that’s snobby 🙃
