I feel it incumbent on me to praise the person who kicked the tear gas cannister to the front of the ICE vehicle, so that the truck's air intake would suck the gas in to the car full of ICE agents ...

Honestly, leaving aside the class associations, I think the question of which looks better is largely dependent on face shape. A wider face will favour a wider knot, a narrower face will favour a narrower knot.

One knot is bigger, more symmetrical. The other knot is smaller, less symmetrical.
