US government announces the establishment of "phase two" in its colonial administration of occupied Gaza, with the pretense of the Palestinian technocratic committee. Interestingly Hamas and Fatah have announced they both support the committee and Hamas has prepared to hand over civil functions.

The limitations of his office notwithstanding it is in fact important to have a mayor, and behind him a series of affiliated parliamentarians and councilors, who will say this and say it repeatedly.
