This week, we welcomed Hiba Midouane to the Emili Lab at OHSU. She will be joining us to continue her research on neurodegenerative diseases. Hiba will learn and apply cutting edge proteomics tools to her research. We look forward to what Hiba will accomplish in her 1 year with the Emili Lab.

Dr. Emili gave a powerful talk at the Structural Proteomics Symposium 2025 in Milan on advancing the scientific toolkit to address molecular interactome questions. He ended his presentation by encouraging us to pioneer new technologies and tools.

Neha has completed her final Thesis Advisory Committee and will be working to wrap up her research. We enjoyed a nice Lab lunch get together to celebrate her time in the Emili Lab. We all wish Neha success as she works to finish her project and moves forward in her career.
