Criterion Channel rules: on one hand, they are like here a bunch of movies by altman, Chantal Ackerman, Etc because these movies are IMPORTANT, and on the other hand they are are like here here are a bunch of John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat movies (and SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE) because they are important

The cast is great, that opening sequence is Death Wish on steroids and that subway scene where everyone is armed is so funny and kinda campy and then so gory
