granted i took that class after green girl was made so it doesn’t really apply to her lol smile grins

react and respond to it, since then i completely overhauled that design and it spread from there, everything around them now has purpose and much more interesting compared to where that character started

i was a little mad at first oh what does he know that sorta thing but something shifted in my brain, i never was considering personality or purpose in my designs, only what looked cool

it can be hard but that type of advice really helps in the long run, to get out of your head and have someone else

wasn’t trying to be mean but he was very honest, and it was the best advice i ever got, he basically said “how does this design reflect their personality?” now it sounds easy to do but it’s a whole other thing when someone can look at your specific character and point out where it needs to improve

also knowing what maria is supposed to represent makes her design in sh2 remake kinda lame
