But overall the conversation has been less focused on super apps/browsers, in part because Farcaster's composability makes apps stronger without always needing a super app to "glue" different apps together (example of Farcaster's composability below)

There has also been a focus on crypto-focused browsers, which inherently have to become your de-facto homepage to fully succeed I find this exciting because of the short-term problems this solves(eg. wallet connection) and the strong teams working in the space(eg. Roam ⬇️)

Super apps were discussed in an era where companies built in inter-connected verticals to capture as much value as they could from customers

A true example of a super app is WeChat, with many micro-apps available in one app, but there's nothing *truly* like this in the US

For example, proposal notifications for PurpleDAO drove engagement and provided a service other apps & protocols don't. And with the new protocol upgrade FIP-2, users can reply directly to URLs or smart contracts.

What if this was used to make a Purple-only discussion?

And in other news, Casterscan.com now uses Hub data in production!!

This has been a huge priority as the protocol is becoming decentralized, and we want to make sure Casterscan can be a top destination to view the latest data on Farcaster.

Launch day is finally here! 🟪 🚀 My friend Luciano and I are releasing grouppurple.com -- bid on the PurpleDAO auction as a group.

Here's how it works:
- Sign up & create a project through Juicebox
- Add your project ID to the Group Purple site
- Bid on the Purple auction with your friends 😎

Our first integration is with Farcaster but we're also building ways to create your own data that's stored on @ipfs.tech

GM Bluesky

I wrote a piece talking about the past three months of publishing my newsletter Next in Tech every weekend, what I've learned, and what's next for me content-wise.

it took me a few weeks but I finally got my following count down from 3600 to 36.

I was trying to follow everyone on Bluesky at first, but my feed became over saturated with different types of content & with new friends joining, I wanted to reset my following count

Launched a project called Casterscan yesterday, which is a block explorer for the Farcaster protocol.

Wanted to share here because I know many Bluesky users are interested in open social protocols!

Interesting finds I’ve stumbled upon recently:

Learning Assistant

Khan Academy launched their GPT-4 powered bot Khanmigo. Among other abilities, it can help:
- Pique students' interest in a subject
- Answer questions relevant to a problem
- Help go over a particular concept

Multimodal Input w/ Images

During a developer livestream, it was demonstrated that GPT-4 can generate a web app from a wireframe image -- which is pretty impressive.

What if these tools were adopted by companies to help interact with products or places?
