I'm hoping his skin isn't as thin as people make it out to be and that he can be big enough to admit mistakes and take feedback well

I mean why not continue to throw money into fossil fuels... Just because he has some good policies and has great media skills doesn't mean we shouldn't bully him when he is making clear mistakes

And I personally think the long-term goal of course is to reduce the government processes, expertise, and staff so they can lower taxes and funnel more money directly to friends and donors (and themselves eventually via future jobs at these firms when they leave politics)

I swear these consultancy firms are just ways conservative and liberal politicians funnel money to donors to help support the idea that government processes, expertise and staff are somehow inherently inefficient, while buying endorsements for policies they want

The good news is the feedback was so bad from the firm that the contract was cancelled early, although I imagine they still got partially paid (which is a great gig if you can get it)

Myself, another prof and a clinician scientist presented to three business grads over teams and then they wrote in what amounted to a barely legible email saying they didn't think it made "economic sense", while clearly showing they didn't understand the application.
