I’ve lived in a lot of conservative areas.They always think I’m one of them. One of the loggers I worked with would say just the worst shit including the N word. Shocker. He was an evangelical. I just told him if he said shit like that I’d talk about his fantasies with Jesus. We had a stalemate.

Yeah. I really don’t like quarterbacks. Biggest punks I played with and I can just picture him being like the ones I despised. His line collapsed on a four man rush. He didn’t have a chance.

I mean, you’re correct in more ways than one. When I was still on FB during the Obama years - I was the first one defriended by my white “friends” and colleagues. They could not believe I thought they were giant pieces of shit - if you walk in a room and I’m there you’re gonna guess I’m a Trump guy.

It’s an interesting dynamic, though. I do wonder if it’s a way to deal with the anxiety and fear he would feel if he let himself. It reminds me a friend of a friend. Similar situation and I just felt it was coping and intellectual laziness.

I just reviewed a very official document. I know exactly when the events took place. In one place it’s dated a year early and in another it’s dated 8 days early. But conspiracies are fun.

And they didn’t even know the majority of the Kennedy family is terrified by RFK, Jr. It just sucks the air out of an argument when one doesn’t even know basic facts about the person you’re criticizing. And I’m no fan of the political dynasty class.

If you gave me a vacuum for the US to sit in and we could try out communism; I’d be down. But the US doesn’t rest in a vacuum. Resources whether $, a piece of dirt, water are finite. The capacity of human evil will always be significant. Your world view is a fantasy. Harm reduction is what we have.

The thing is, humans control it all. And so every system is going to be flawed to really flawed to pure evil. In theory, communism is fine - it’s all fine with me - a decent, non-exploitative capitalist society doesn’t upset me. The rest is fantasy. And a waste of time.
