I doubt it will get rid of him. I do think if the Democrats take back the House they will impeach him again.

He could still veto it but I don't think he will. He would be better off signing the bill into law.
November 18, 2025 at 11:55 PM
Yes it did. Trump doing a 180 and supporting the release of the files is so random.
November 18, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Nope and it makes the other side look as bad as MAGA.

I was already skeptical of this. If Epstein was really with Trump on that day someone would've noticed.
November 14, 2025 at 12:20 AM
I was skeptical of this. The Democrats deleting this proves my skepticism.

I was already skeptical of this to begin with.

I think it's dead once it reaches the Senate.
November 13, 2025 at 7:50 PM
The files are most likely heavily redacted at this point.
November 13, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Nope. I think it's dead once it reaches the Senate.
November 13, 2025 at 7:48 PM
The Senate doesn't have a discharge petition mechanism. There's no rule that requires it to be brought up for a vote in the Senate. If majority leader Thune doesn't bring it to the floor there's no rule saying he can't.
November 13, 2025 at 7:47 PM
The Senate does not. There's no rule in the Senate that requires it to be brought up for a vote.

I think it's dead once it reaches the Senate.
November 13, 2025 at 7:40 PM
I don't see it passing in the Senate.
November 13, 2025 at 7:39 PM
The bill just requires the DOJ to release the files. I could be wrong but I don't think it requires them to release them unredacted. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
November 13, 2025 at 7:33 PM
If you go to Trump supporter and conservative subs on Reddit you'll see Trump supporters on there saying the emails are fake and they're tired of hearing about Epstein. If January 6th didn't turn them against him I doubt this will. Anything is possible.
November 13, 2025 at 7:30 PM
It's unlikely that John Thune will even bring it up for a vote since there's no rule in the Senate that says he has to.
November 13, 2025 at 6:14 PM
Most likely.
November 13, 2025 at 8:27 AM
Thune can't be forced to bring it up for a vote as there's no discharge petition mechanism in the Senate. Even if he were to bring it up it would need 60 votes to pass because of the filibuster. If by some miracle it were to pass in the Senate Trump would have to sign it into law.
November 13, 2025 at 8:05 AM
I never underestimate the chances of the Democrats screwing up.
November 13, 2025 at 8:02 AM
His supporters are already saying the emails are fake. If January 6th didn't turn them against him I doubt this will.
November 13, 2025 at 7:52 AM
Since there's no discharge petition mechanism in the Senate majority leader John Thune can simply not bring it up for a vote and that's that.
