Why can't we live in a world where AI (with a tiny carbon footprint, made by humans being treated with dignity, and isn't based on stolen work) does the soul-sucking tasks that nobody wants to do instead of the things that bring people actual life fulfillment? (Rhetorical / I know the answer)

Until we live in a world where there's no incentive for corporate greed, theft, mass layoffs, slop propagation, and environmental destruction, genAI just can't be allowed to be a part of the world.

*Absolutely, positively, 100%*, tell your nasty "loved" ones to pound sand, but don't be surprised if you don't get any sense of those people having acknowledged their mistakes, let alone receive any admissions of remorse.

Although I agree with the sentiment, I do caution against anyone who might think they'll get satisfaction from a clapback five to thirty years in the future. A lot of the time, people like the dad here don't change and won't be begging, but demanding and then throwing all their toys out of the crib.

I'm not looking forward to the WvW stuff for getting the Gift of Battle. It's not that WvW intimidates or confuses me. I just usually find it really boring. I might want a buddy for helping me not fall asleep.
