So if Elon lays you off, or if the American car manufacturers have to layoff factory workers due to the slow down of sales from high tariffs (www.foxbusiness.com/economy/stee...) or the Travel/Tourism industry layoffs due to US boycotts on travel to the USA continues causing layoffs.

Not having federally mandated paid Maternity /Paternity leave. Cutting off education funds to public schools to help special needs students, Headstart programs, grants among other child-relate programs. These and a host of other child related issues that are a deterrent from having more children

Laying off tens of thousands of people in the public sector that also reverberates to the private sector. Raising tariffs that affect the economy for working families. Making remote workers return to the office for no real apparent reason making home child-care an issue.
