As a professional, if you give an opinion about something that is within (or others reasonably believe is within) your professional expertise, when are you considered “off duty”? In engineering, we’re taught to be very careful about giving opinions that others may take as advice or assurance.

When words and actions are 180 degrees apart. If you cared, Ms Fir, you would speak loudly in opposition to, collect others to vote with you, and vote against Bill 9.
