Yes, New Years Day is the first song I first remember hearing from them and loving. It might be just because the video was so starkly beautiful. They are just one of those bands that has a seemingly endless great catalog of music.

Love the original and Jack White did a smoking version of it but this is best version of this song to me. All that being said it's still far from my favorite by them lol.

That imo is one of the greatest albums ever made. Flawless from start to finish. They were starting to experiment with the techno side of music but didn't go so far as to alienate their rock fans. Just a beautiful combo of styles. So one of my not favorites will be a version of one of those songs.

Had a back and forth relationship with them personally. I remember really liking them when I was younger first hearing songs like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "I Still Havn't Found..." then I went through my metal phase and dismissed them like the kid I was. Achtung Baby changed almost of that for me.

Jim Croce was one of the great singer songwriters of his time. You would prolly enjoy alot of his stuff. Most of it is pretty relatable imo.
