Answer: THEY SHOULDN'T. Any and all communication is supposed to go through their platform or a ticketing system, comms go through e-mail then.

If only. It's similar to how Google as a whole has been fighting fiercely against people who use ad blockers and/or track blockers, while that amounts to like 5% of the user base. On top of that, there's just no solid alternative to yt, unfortunately.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, Google started filtering VPN/Proxy access to prevent circimeventing of those laws. It's stupid as hell, naturally.
