We took Braveheart and her kittens into our house. Her kittens lived long lives but she has outlived them. She is a brave mother.

I believe the black & white is Physcia stellarus and the orange is Polycauliona polycarpa (Sunburst lichen). These were on a damp fallen stick.

I know your frustration, but politicians who want to be elected or have a legacy due notice and are more likely to be affected than if everyone stays home and grumbles privately. It's just one aspect of what needs to be done.
