The gorget’s patterns & shape are based on ancestral shell carvings & petroglyph reliefs. Opalite is a beloved material of the ancestors during the 1700s. Its also accented with brass fixtures to connect to the leather strap necklace with buffalo horn bead & shell to pin everything together.

Not long after the Noble woman and one of her lady and waiting excuse themselves then disappear in the night with a chest of uncut pearls. It was described that the temple roof was covered in pearls. With sections described as thick as a horses hoof.
