I love the fact that so many composers made this list. This year I really embraced my rock and roll side. My upbringing in Boise can be seen with how high Built to Spill is, but I’m shocked Halo Benders didn’t make the list.

I forgot how obsessed I was with Future Island’s at the beginning of the year. I would have thought Ecca Vandal would be further up, Cruising to Self Soothe is my favorite song of the year.

What I don’t get about people like him is at the same time they embrace Nazi ideology they will tell you how great the people were who fought against the Axis powers in WWII.

Charlie Kirk was a terrible human being who was spreading lies and misinformation right to the end. Fitting that it was specifically about gun violence. If you’re conflicted about this that just proves you have morals. A bad thing happened to a bad person.
