Well, this thing is a BEAST! I trusted the instructions that came with the file, and boy was that a mistake. It's supposed to be 55" - it's as tall as I am (69"), and at 10lbs, carrying two of these will be a bit much by the end of a con day.
I might finish this one for a wall display, though.

Hey, looks, cosplay WIP! It's been a while, but I'm finally making things again, starting with this puzzle! If it goes well, then I have to do it all again to make it's twin.

Chatting with my mum on a video call this morning, and she asks me about this statue in my background. I explain it as “a character from a game I play”, and hold it up to the camera so she can get a better view.
“Oh.” She says. “Isn’t he a handsome man.”

Been waiting almost a year for this beauty to get to me, and he’s definitely worth the wait.

Fun at the @larianstudios.com booth at PAX West. Thanks to the companions for playing along with my little Astral Tadpole, and to the Emperor for letting my Helldiver companion figure out the hard way that he was the wrong type of "Squid"

Her stylus paused as she flinched slightly at the cold tone. She ought to be used to the switch between Caleb and the Colonel by now, but it still caught her off guard. She shifted in her chair, the stiff fabric of the uniform prickling her skin. While the position in this office was fake, and she was here purely at the Colonel’s whim, the uniform was all too real. But of course she would jump at the chance to witness this meeting. Two of the most powerful men she knew of, in the same room. She glanced up, the view of the two of them filling her vision, the atmosphere in the room, heavily charged. Both tall. Athletic. Dressed in perfectly tailored outfits; the Colonel obviously in his meticulous uniform, with its eyecatching braids and chains, the other, an immaculately tailored suit of rich fabrics, the light catching on subtle but tasteful adornments. Amethyst eyes met ruby ones across the desk. Neither showing any weakness to the other, two predators getting the measure of each other. Her own thoughts ran wild with the potential in front of her. But she was not here to imagine, she was here to document. She dipped her head down to hide her blushing cheeks, and continued to write her notes
