I'm not 100% sure, but I think"Mackey" refers to John Mackey, a cartoonist who produced this comic for Ken magazine in 1938, which, unlike the preceding work, looks pretty good and is kind of funny. Guess he just wasn't bringing his A game to FIGHT.

Unlike "Strength Through Joy," which was pretty good, in 1936 FIGHT ran a short-lived anti-war comic called “General D’Sorder” by Mackey, which was not funny and kind of looked like shit.
