I think what bridged the gap for me is that chai is effectively black tea with a lot of shit in it, and chai is good.

I should note that I am a no-frills loose leaf green tea bitch. I think I found earl grey off putting because they add stuff to it. I think that’s also why I don’t drink black tea in general.
