He has been such a massive part of our resurgence under PIF/Howe but last night was the "final" straw. Not necessarily forever, but certainly for now

yeah that's a fair lineup, I just don't think I could bring myself to start Woltemade nor could I stomach starting Gordon in CL after Barnes won us the City game

I was thinking about it before lineups were released, and I couldn't decide what I'd do
I think I would've rested Hall. but I defs would've given Ramsdale a chance, and I would never, ever play Gordon as a striker for us
Murphy needed to come off earlier too

He was trying to make line-breaking passes all evening. It's often quite a low success ratio when trying those, because they have to be inch perfect
But tbh once he tired those became a 0% success rate
With Tonali doing the same, and Elanga as our right winger, we had nobody creating chances

I don't think that's fair. Almost every chance we've had has come through him
Last 10mins though he's tired and his level has definitely dropped. We've got nobody left to bring on though!
