Exactly! There's so much focus on the maiden/married name issue-which is certainly valid-but there are so many challenges that won't become clear until registration under those rules start.
I've been registered where I am for 50 years. I cannot remember what the rules were back then.

It is...after my last attempt I went up one floor to the county clerk and renewed my expired passport. This is the point of the whole discussion...it's not as easy as they make it sound to get "Real ID". Passport was tough to get the first time but renewing is relatively painless, though expensive.

I'm in New York and my voter registration is fine-at the moment. It's trying to get DMV to agree I live where I do for "Real ID" when all my mail goes to a PO box. Ironically, the only piece of mail I have with my street address is my voter registration card assigning my polling place. I need 2.

I've never managed to get a real ID. The middle initial thing plus I live in a rural area and we do not have US Postal Service delivery addresses in my neighborhood so I have nothing with my street address on it. I have a 911 street address but that doesn't count.

It was the same at Shoprite in NY yesterday...very few fresh vegetables to be had! I think part of the madness in the aisles was it being the last week of the can can sale but I haven't seen lines like that in years!
