It's my curse to see "first time streaming Dark Souls" on Twitch, check out their stream, watch them talk for 10 minutes without starting the game, then I close it out. This has happened to me 3 times this week and I think I'm done trying to watch new streamers.

I've barely played anything new this year. I didn't finish Metaphor Refantazio til March, then I replayed all of Elden Ring and the Dark Souls trilogy, then Octopath 2.
The only 2025 game I've truly enjoyed to completion is Digimon Story Time Stranger.

My Spotify Wrapped is generally warped because my alarm clock song is Secret of the Forest and I listen to the same Playlist in the shower every morning - but unsurprisingly Eidola is my #1 for multiple years in a row.

Yesterday it was so cold in the office I work at that they started giving out handwarmers. An office with computers, not a warehouse.

I have mixed feelings on the villain of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 but damn this is one of the best feeling games I've ever played. Traversal has never felt this good and the cinematic combat finishers are tops. The seamless transition between gameplay and cutscenes at times are awesome.

Once again my desire to listen to music while playing a multiplayer game is being challenged by also wanting to be social.
I might need to start up FFXIV again since I don't know anyone who plays it. Weird, I know.

I hate that I don't see what everyone else does in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Maybe I played it in the wrong state of mind. I liked it well enough but didn't care enough about the characters to finish it. And I thought the soundtrack was fine, but it didn't have me looking up the tracks on YouTube.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is amaxing when you're doing Spider-Man stuff, but I'm not enjoying all of the padding. It's reminding me a lot of FF7 Rebirth. Some of the best core gameplay ever made surrounded by boring talking segments and mini-games. I wish there were more cutscenes so I could skip them.

Today a lady at the eye doctor scoffed when I said I buy lenses from a 3rd party due to cost. Ensured me we could find glasses that would cost me minimally out of pocket.
Quotes me for $245, realizes it's wrong, I leave, then calls me later to say it's $135.

Web slinging from rooftops to streets fighting baddies and unlocking costumes in Spider-Man 2 to slowly walking around a lab listening to people talk about things I couldn't care less about I'd quite the whiplash. They don't count as cutscenes and can't be skipped.

I've only been to two concerts this year but had a 4 hour and 2 hour drive respectively on back to back weekends to see Minus the Bear and Ne Obliviscaris but it was totally worth it.

Went to the store exclusively to buy coffee creamer instead of hitting up Dunkin/Starfucks and the brown sugar oatmilk stuff I got is disgusting. #firstworldproblems

Tenchu 2 is one of the few games where I can beat the final boss handily with one character then lose to the first boss with the other character. Humbled.

Spent a good chunk of the afternoon adding to a playlist focusing on songs with primarily clean vocals in djent/progressive-metal and it's shaping up to be one of my best yet.

Trying to play Borderlands 4 for the first time since launch and it crashed while compiling shaders. Then when it finished compiling shaders and I hit continue, it had to compile shaders AGAIN in a loading screen. This is madness.
