it bruises my ego to even admit this much but i’ve gotta be realistic about where the tools are heading if i want to keep doing this job

i’m still exceedingly skeptical about its ability to handle big problems, and i probably wouldn’t have success if i didn’t already know what i was doing, but it is unfortunately getting better at taking care of some toil that i don’t need to spend hours on myself

i’m far from llm-pilled but i’ve recently had some decent success getting it to implement boring stuff like basic response caching for a web server when i didn’t feel like thinking very hard about it and it was a trivial-ish solution. it used our existing cache patterns without much prodding too
