Public interest attorney. Formerly EEOC, Democracy Forward.
Introduced a friend to Revolution X yesterday and said it was a shooter where you rescued Aerosmith and Steven Tyler and Rick Perry talked to you from CDs. We were both sad 20 minutes later when Joe Perry showed up and we remembered who Rick was.

This goes with something I’ve been thinking about: given that government officials can and do sue for defamation, is the FTCA’s prohibition on defamation cases against government officials constitutional as a matter of equal protection and due process?

Did it take a crazy hop at the lip of the dirt? Was it a seeing-eye single? A little dribbler that the third (circuit) baseman had to charge and fire to first off-balance? Or was it something else altogether, like maybe a question of statutory interpretation and not a lazy metaphor? We’ll never know

Well, we know it’s not a *routine* ground ball. Unclear whether it’s some other kind.

I was just recommending somebody read “On Being Happy, Healthy, and Ethical in an Unhappy, Unhealthy, and Unethical Profession”! Had no idea it was Schiltz. Should be required reading for law students.

She brought state tort claims too. The reason the appeal is just about QI is because of the *other* ridiculous aspect of QI that allows an immediately appeal from denial of QI, despite the usual limitations on interlocutor appeals

Who knows if it even matters to the defendant’s potential liability!

I got the slippers, you got the broomstick. It's all in the game, though, right?

On further reflection, the situation's a lot less nuanced than that

It's hard to break through in the "dumbest, most ahistorical things you can say" competition but Taibbi's really making an effort

Yeah, I figured it would at least get the Impressive Debut screenplay nod. Also deserved to be in Picture, Director, and Actress, though I wasn’t optimistic about those.

I would have voted Infiniti and A’zion over Madigan and Taylor. Maybe Ackie, too.

Complete snub of Sorry, Baby is the only major disappointment for me.

Is Donald Glover a rapper-turned-actor or an actor-turned-rapper?

Kid Cudi and Tyler the Creator have years to go before they sniff the top 5, but they’re already good actors.

Also, a part of me died just thinking it, but… Mark Wahlberg
