As a whole-hearted proponent of safer infrastructure I agree that it should have been examined.

However, doesn't much if not most of Canadian infrastructure (excluding Montreal) resemble the US, and yet they haven't seen the same rise.

OMG this was my daily bike commute for 7 years, and it was always harrowing. I can't believe it!

I know roundabouts are safer, but the ones in the park have ZERO thought for cyclists. Especially on Concourse they force me to merge into high speed traffic. Traffic definitely slows, but not that much.

man, i live around the corner. Imagine a team and league investing in their history AND an underserved community. That's a win-win.

symmetry wise, I like eliminating both of the drives in front of the museum rather than just one.

Honestly, I am good with either, but whatever remains open needs to be speed calmed and narrowed. The little roundabouts are cute and helpful a bit, but the rest of the road is still a death trap.

The Please Touch Museum parking lot is off Ave of the Republic, that's why I chose South Concourse.

Yep. PBA is demanding safe access for trail and sidewalk users as well.

But, closing down some of the roads to cars, would open them up to pedestrians and the like. South Concourse should be a giant walking path.
