We are the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford. Our teaching and research aim is to contribute to social reform across the globe, reducing inequalities and bringing positive change to people’s lives.  
The documentary is about the 2023 shooting of Ajike Owens by her neighbour.

It quotes findings that 'Stand Your Ground laws have been linked to an 8% to 11% increase in homicide rates, or roughly 700 additional deaths each year.'

Led by Prof Judy Hutchings (Bangor University) and co-authored by Prof Jamie Lachman, the study found:
- Participant retention was good (85%)
- Significant benefits to parent-reported parenting practices, child behaviour & parental mental wellbeing.

Dr Pavarini (Senior Research Fellow) was awarded the ACAMH Digital Innovation Award for Research on Digital Impact.
