I’ve also got the CDs of everything up to The End is Here. Those albums I added to iTunes with a physical drive, and now I don’t know I even CAN connect a physical drive to get them back onto my computer/into my phone.

I just want them back on my new phone! I know there’s some distributions issue so when I got my new phone a few years ago, most of my FIF albums wouldn’t migrate to it.
I can still listen to them on vinyl, but I want them at my fingertips! No idea how many times I’ve listened, but it’s a LOT!

When ABQ is done with the newest remodel, it will be the best terminal in the US, bar none. Mostly for the food, but the architecture of that hall is a close second. But there’s a LOT of great local New Mexican places slated to open up in the terminal, which is all sick!

Every time I talk to a venue manager or promoter who has worked with FIF they always say the same: Just how nice the whole band is. And this is like 20 or 30 years after they were booking those shows and doing splits in local Colorado.

We bought one, after befriending the local vacuum repair guy, to get his opinion. It was his solid recommendation, because we wanted a good one, and a non-disposable appliance.

Soon as you described it as a “parasite clinging to the Shinkansen” I knew where you were going. I love the two big rail museums in Japan, because they do such great treatment of the evolution of the everyday trains people use.

I don’t know the context, but “Save It For Later” is such an incredibly written and recorded song. Which is saying something, because I am a bigger fan of the English Beat’s ska (the vast majority of their music), but this is such a great song.

The “riser” which what we call the ring that sticks up, was worked by one of our volunteers who does a lot of blacksmithing, so it really looks great. And looks just like something Baldwin would have fabricated back in 1912!

It’s just that kitties are great. And even kitties who aren’t good at catching mice (looking at *more than one* of ours) do a pretty good job of keeping them out of the house just by nature of their kittiness.
