Here's that new placeholder model/animations I worked on this weekend. They're pretty rough and jank, I admit, but it was still so much fun to learn and make. Now I can actually run and jump around in this little world I'm making, and that's incredibly satisfying. #gamedev #indiedev #godot #blender

I'm sketching out one of the Labrynth monsters for a warm up, because why not, and I swear to god they have the most bizarre horns I've ever seen. I mean, it's cool and really unique, but what the hell goes on in the Yu-Gi-Oh monster design department, man? They get up to some wacky stuff sometimes.

After playing through the solo mode lore of I:P Masquerena, I think I understand what she's about. Her job is to hack into the most secret government and corporate secrets. I get her, now.

I also learned that she is cat. I somehow didn't know that she is cat.

Of all the little screenshots I've taken of my WIP game, I keep looking at this one. It's always open on my phone, always in arm's reach. I'm not sure why, since it's really just the edge of the level with no real purpose, but it oddly comforts me. Not the gate, either - that void seems so calm.

I will say this, though - I find myself drawing WAY faster on paper than on a tablet. So, heavy flaws aside - that's pretty neat, I guess.

Malice, Lady of Lament is my favorite of the Lament Lady monsters, but Lilith is slowly taking over, I swear to god. She's just so cool man, I can't deal with it 😫

This was supposed to be a quick and temporary placeholder model for animation work and it just wandered so far off the path long after that point was actually reached

Listen you try having a fever for four days straight and see how many of your choices make sense

Are people okay with mitten-shaped lump hands like it's Thief: The Dark Project when it comes to in-game character models? Because I really, really suck at 3D modeling hands 😑

Attempt #2 on the temporary placeholder sword modeling, and I'm just slightly less embarrassed about this one 😆

This is going to be used by a character making thrusting stab attacks, so this general rapier-style path just makes more sense. #gamedev #indiedev #blender3d
