LA just scored a huge win for renters, taking a major step toward an affordable city for all. The City Council’s new rent cap will save tenants billions over the next decade — money that would’ve lined the pockets of corporations and elites without our organizing. The coalition that achieved last Wednesday's unbelievable win for renters has transformed what we thought of as politically possible, forcing this reconsideration of the RSO formula for the first time in 40 years.
