The problem with prompts like this is like, my *most* obscure recommendation? Do we mean obscure or obscure even to people who are already into anime? Surely there's people who don't know about Mindgame, or Angel's Egg, or Wolf Children. The entire Yuasa/Ueno/Science-Saru oeuvre feels like a secret.
