Happy Chanukah to all those who celebrate! I was honored to join members of the Cape Ann Jewish community for the lighting of the first light of the Rockport menorah this evening. Even in adverse weather, a joyful and resilient crowd gathered to sing, pray, and celebrate life.

She strongly supported the effort by UMass Memorial to bring proton radiation therapy to their facility, giving patients in central and western Massachusetts an option closer to home.

Tomorrow will be a day of pride for me. This daughter of Sicilian immigrants will be visiting Terrasini in an effort to further promote the relationship between Terrasini and Gloucester as sister cities. This visit comes on the heels of the Mayor of Terrasini’s visit to Gloucester this spring.
