This historian is amazing. I feel like watching her documentary series has given me more insight into America than countless hours of modern news media.

Very pleased to read the work of Jeffrey Kluger, an author I have long admired. Will Artemis II do for 2026 what Apollo 8 did for 1968?

I found this to be an intriguing read. As the author of a book on astronaut training, I am interested in the kind of physical fitness that Artemis astronauts will have to demonstrate prior to lunar surface excursions.

My first year as a Georgia resident has given me a great chance to reflect on the life of Martin Luther King Jr. The museums and monuments in Atlanta particularly are fertile places to think about human rights and their history.

I now have just the sweater to commemorate one of my longtime favorite space missions, Apollo 8. When the Artemis II crew lifts off, I will wear this while Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy embark on their own lunar voyage.

I just received these copies of Life Magazine from 1939, if any fellow U.S. History teachers are interested. I am intrigued by the optimism the 1939 World's Fair gave to the American people during a time of depression and looming war in Europe and Asia. This was a focus of the magazine that year.

Just a reminder to all history teachers like myself that the eighth edition of the Give Me Liberty! textbook is going to be released later this year. There are two new podcasts associated with it as well that I was recently emailed.

Jeff Foust reports in this article that the year 2025 ended with 324 orbital launch attempts worldwide, compared to 107 in 2020. We are living through an incredible time of higher cadence, lower costs, and greater hardware reusability.
