Cavern Clingers are a small species related to dragons. Their back legs have almost disappeared with only a few claws now remaining near the base of their long forked tails. As with most dragon kin they are highly intelligent and have incredibly long lifespans. #art #creaturedesign

There are wild populations of Armored Hawks, however they are more often encountered as the faithful companions of northerners who have raised them for centuries. Tales tell of some that were large enough to carry warriors, however I have not encountered any large than a dire wolf. #art

Dragon eels while not true dragons are no less fearsome. Like most dragon kin they are highly territorial and solitary. Their speed in water is unrivaled by any other creature in the known world. They are incredibly cunning creatures and have been known to strike deals with merchants. #art

Rock Dragons are the most populous of the true dragons. Unlike many dragons, they primarily live and hunt in small packs. The thick fur that covers their stocky bodies provides insulation for the cold nights and long winters that occur in their native range. #art #creaturedesign
