I have been sitting on the ref for this (from @trueref.bsky.social ) since July, decided to noodle on it today and dammit I leveled up in the last couple days. I’ll come and pick at this some more but there are so many things I like about this.

I forgot to post this here but for the past year I’ve been teaching myself to draw people. The first image is the first person I found in my sketchbook and it’s dated February 8th. The second is the last thing I drew in that same sketchbook on Sunday. Go start that thing you’ve feared.

So I am running a batch of stock in my slow cooker (my usual method) but I had like half the turkey carcass and a lot of vegetables left so I ran a pot on the stove and here is what that looked like after 2 hours. I’m cooling it down now and I’ll skim that fat but man I wish you could smell this
