Also quantum physics isn't the only side of the "Uh oh, we've been in a bottle this whole time" moment in physics. While quantum physics is us observing the rules of physics change as things get very small, we also have Relativity where the physics of things change as they get close to lightspeed.

That's not quite what Quantum physics is. A better way to understand it is to imagine it as the Dark Continent to the physics we've been studying for thousands of years. Also like, Nuclear physics are also quantum physics so we've been making good headway into this for a while.

The only thing that stands out in my mind when I think of the series nowadays is the the MC might just be the most potential of the potential men.

In all honesty, this is probably Limbus Company still being somewhat careful and reasonable. On the other hand though, it's a perfect explanation of why Hermann is messing around with IDs as well.
